Villa Kosti is absolutely magnificent. It is vast, at 8181 sqft, and boasts fantastic outdoor spaces as well as 6 astonishing bedroom suites and fabulous living spaces. Considerable effort has been taken with the decor and styling of the villa, the result being stunning, ultra-cool and trendy. The villa is located in the ‘posh’ Psychiko area of Athens, popular with the city’s footballers and other superstars. On the ground floor, the living spaces are hugely impressive. A super cool double-sided chimney and fireplace separate the plush dining area from the huge lounge. Oversized, luxurious sofas and day beds ensure supreme comfort. The chic light fittings blend perfectly. The living space is open to the remarkable entrance space with double-height aspect. The kitchen diner is modern and trendy with a fantastic dining space. There are so many perfect places to eat in this villa.

The living area opens to the landscaped garden, terrace and swimming pool. You are met with gorgeous alfresco dining, swanky alfresco lounge spaces, cool bean bag beds, sun loungers and umbrellas. You will definitely find it hard to leave this villa to visit the charms of Athens! Everything about it is upmarket, stylish and luxurious. A stunning staircase leads upstairs to the upper floors. The indoor balcony overlooks the entrance hallway and leads to the amazing bedroom suites. Each has its own merits. Three of the suites boast extra-large double beds, two have large doubles, and one suite has twin beds. Villa Kosti Location

Villa Kosti is located in the upmarket Psychiko area of Athens. It is extremely easy to arrive from the airport and very easy to get about to explore the city and the wonderful beach area. The Ethniki Amyna Metro Station is very close by if you want to use public transport. Popular landmarks such as the Golden Hall, Athens Music Hall, The Athens Mall, The National Archaeological Museum of Athens and the Museum of Cycladic Art are all within 3 miles of the villa. The world-famous site of the Parthenon and the Acropolis is also nearby.

The classic icon, the Parthenon, has dominated the Athens skyline for over 2500 years. You can buy tickets online before arriving, and it is best to beat the coach parties and arrive early. You can buy a combined ticket for five days that also gives you access to the Ancient and Roman Agora, Hadrian’s Library, the temple of the Olympian Zeus, the enchanting necropolis of Kerameikos and Aristotle’s Lyceum. You can walk in the footsteps of the ancient Greeks at the newly opened excavations beneath the Acropolis Museum, a modern masterpiece. You will also enjoy wandering around Anafiotika, a Cycladic village on the northern slopes of the Acropolis. The all-marble Panathenaic Stadium was home to the first modern Olympics. The Stavros Niarchos Park is a 52-acre park dotted with playgrounds and picnic spots and is home to the Greek National Opera. There is a 400m canal, and there are outdoor movies on the Great Lawn.

Plaka is a quaint old town of Athens where you will find delightful Byzantine chapels with their fading frescoes, quirky museums, charming shops and the fascinating Benizelos Mansion, an excellent example of Ottoman architecture.
Athens offers a fantastic dining scene. You will find some wonderful basement tavernas and chic, trendy bars and restaurants. There are some fashionable bars and globally inspired restaurants in the warren of narrow streets and arcades in the Trigono area. Also popular is the Pangrati neighbourhood.
Athens southern coastline boasts sandy beaches, upmarket marinas and pine-fringed peninsulas. There are beaches all the way from Glyfada to Cape Sounion. Popular beaches to visit from Athens are Voula Beach, Kavouri Beach, Alimos Beach, Glyfada Beach, Loutsa Beach and Porto Rafti Beach.
