Surrounded by beautiful, landscaped gardens, which are dotted with flowers and trees, the villa is both tranquil and private. The villa is set on two floors and is classically Mediterranean in style with cream and whitewashed walls, terracotta-tile roofs and classic wooden shutters. You’ll find two spacious bedrooms on the lower level, both with king-size beds and elegant marble-clad en-suite bathrooms. Villa Mandras Location
Villa Mandras is located near Fiskardo, a harbour village on Kefalonia's northern tip. The area is popular for its candy-coloured Venetian buildings, quaint fishing harbour and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect holiday destination for families, friends and couples alike.Kefalonia is an island in the Ionian Sea and is marked by sandy coves and rugged landscapes. The cosmopolitan capital Argostoli is an hour from Fiskardo and is built on a hillside and overlooks a harbour. There you can wander along the waterfront and watch the fishermen bring in their catch or look over to the Victorian Drapano Bridge. There are a couple of museums you can visit, plus a library filled with rare books and manuscripts. For lunch or dinner, there’s a central square, lined with cafés, bars and restaurants. International and local cuisine is served.
Kefalonia's indented coastline is made up of bays, limestone cliffs and white sandy strips, like Myrtos Beach in the north. The nearest beach from the villa is Foki Beach, a pebble bay surrounded by a tall forest. The waters are calm, sheltered and clear, making them perfect for swimming and snorkelling. There are also beautiful underground lakes and caves around the island for you to discover.
Kefalonia is a short distance from Ithaca, another Greek island in the Ionian Sea. To get there, there’s a ferry that departs from Fiscardo as well as a daily one from the port of Sami in Kefalonia. You can also hop on a boat to see the nearby islands of Meganisi, Scorpio and Lefkas, and stop off at more remote beaches for swimming.
