Villa Mikis Overview
Offering a stunning sea view and less than 3km from the popular Tsambika Beach, Villa Mikis enjoys an enviable location on Rhodes’ eastern coast. With an eye-catching pool and terrace right outside the door, up to 9 guests can make the most of the sun at this exquisite island holiday home.In addition to the large, private pool, measuring 90 sq m, the villa also features a wellness area with a hot tub and sauna, plus numerous sun loungers and seating areas on the terrace. A spacious covered area has a dining table and chairs, just a few steps away from a grand barbecue, perfect for entertaining any visitors. The views out to the ocean and surrounding hills are sure to add to the occasion. There is a small chapel in the grounds, which gives the property a true Greek feel. Villa Mikis has a large living area inside with a tiled floor, fireplace, flatscreen TV and lots of seating. This area flows through to the kitchen where attractive wooden units, a large fridge freezer, oven and dishwasher can be found. There is also an informal dining area here, ideal for a quick coffee or breakfast, and another more formal one, seating six guests, in the adjacent space.
There are two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms at the villa, all with high-quality furnishings and plenty of storage space. There’s room for a ninth guest on the sofa-bed in the lounge. Three bathrooms are similarly well-appointed, with large walk-in showers. Kolympia enjoys one of the finest locations on the coast, not just for its beauty, but its proximity to many of the island’s highlights. Roughly halfway between Rhodes town and Lindos, famed for its magnificent Acropolis, it’s even closer to Afandou, where you will find a great golf course, and Faliraki’s stunning Anthony Quinn Bay. Don’t miss venturing inland either – you don’t have to travel too far from the coast to encounter the natural wonders of Vouno Kalathos, and Epta Piges, or ‘Seven Springs’, while the Valley of the Butterflies is sure to delight visitors of all ages.

Villa Mikis Location
The local beaches are Tsambika and Kolimpia. Local places to visit include the Tsambika Monestry, the Folklore Museum & Museum of Ceramic Art. Rhodes is an island with more than its fair share of natural beauty and landmark sights. With Rhodes Town only about 30 minutes’ drive from the Villa Mikis, it would be a shame to miss out on discovering its charms for yourself. The town of Rhodes is as good a place to start as any, and lies on the northern tip of the island. A walk along the medieval walls of the Old Town will offer you some beautiful views, accessible from the must-see Palace of the Grand Masters. Part of a World Heritage Site, this is also the location of a fine museum which offers the chance to familiarise yourself with Rhodian history, extending as far back as the 3rd century BC. Another museum worth checking out is the Museum of Modern Greek Art, with an eclectic collection only rivalled by Athens. The New Town area is visually appealing itself, with an Art Deco influence present in much of its architecture. Mandráki harbour is the home of Evangelismós Cathedral, where you can find some impressive frescoes. Along the coast Lindos Acropolis is as spectacular as the coastal views it enjoys, and definitely worth seeing. Down the coast, you also have resorts such as Ammoudes, Kolympia and, perhaps best-known, Faliraki. While its reputation may precede it, this is not the hedonism capital it once was. A children’s water-park and the beautiful Anthony Quinn Bay may tempt you there during the day, and an aquarium and scuba-diving school also embrace the aquatic theme. At the very southern tip of the island, Prasonisi’s location – dividing the Aegean and the Mediterranean – is considered prime wind-surfing territory. But if that sounds a little too exhilarating, Rhodes’ more sedate attractions like the Valley of the Butterflies, numerous wineries and the seven springs of the wonderfully scenic Epta Piges nature reserve, will provide just as pleasant a day out.
