Villa Pelagia Overview
Mama La Roosa is a charming two-bedroom villa on the northern tip of the Ionian island of Kefalonia. It’s located in a peaceful spot overlooking the picturesque bay and harbour village of Fiskardo, where there’s a wealth of restaurants, bars and shops. Surrounded by beautiful, landscaped gardens, which are dotted with an abundance of vibrant flowers and trees, the villa is both tranquil and private. The décor is classically Mediterranean in style with whitewashed walls, traditional wooden shutters and terracotta-tile roofs. Set on two floors, there are two large bedrooms on the lower level, both with comfortable king-size beds and beautifully appointed, marble-clad en-suite bathrooms. Rooms are modern and contemporary with cream-coloured furnishings and light and airy spaces.
On the upper level, you’ll find a spaciously sized living room, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and coffee and tea making facilities, plus an eating area and a guest WC with laundry facilities. The living room leads onto a balcony with seating and a table for dining al fresco while enjoying the serene ambience and stunning views of the village and coastline below.
Stepping onto the ground-floor terrace your private swimming pool greets you, and there are several loungers and chairs for you to relax on, either in the sun or the shade. For a stress-free home from home stay, there’s also housekeeping, laundry and linen services available. Plus, a daily continental breakfast and car hire service, should you choose it.
If you can bring yourself to leave the comfort of the villa and explore the local area, there are four bicycles for use during your stay at Villa Pelagia. For family-friendly day trips, you can head into the Fiskardo where there’s a quaint beach near the harbour, pretty pastel buildings and waterside restaurants. Look out for local tavernas serving Kefalonia's famous meat pies and fresh seafood. Please note:- The villa is one of three identical villas and photos may not be of the actual villa you stay in, therefore views may slightly differ.

Villa Pelagia Location
Villa Pelagia is in Fiskardo, a charming village on Kefalonia's northern tip. Think candy-coloured Venetian buildings draped in beautiful bougainvillaea flowers, a quaint fishing harbour and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere – a perfect destination for families, friends and couples alike.Kefalonia is an island in the Ionian Sea, west of mainland Greece. It's marked by sandy coves and rugged landscapes. The cosmopolitan capital Argostoli, an hour from Fiskardo, is built on a hillside and overlooks a harbour. There you can wander along the waterfront and watch the fishermen bring in their catch or look over to the Victorian Drapano Bridge. There are a couple of museums you can visit, plus a library filled with rare books and manuscripts. For lunch or dinner, there’s a central square, lined with plenty of local cafés, bars and restaurants.
Kefalonia's indented coastline is made up of limestone cliffs, bays and short strips of white sand, like Myrtos Beach in the north. Many beaches are only accessible on foot or via narrow, twisting roads. The nearest beach from the villa is Foki Beach, a pebble bay surrounded by a tall forest. The waters are calm, sheltered and clear, making them perfect for swimming and snorkelling. There are also beautiful underground lakes and caves around the island for you to discover.
Kefalonia is a short distance from Ithaca, another Greek island in the Ionian Sea. To get there, there is a ferry that departs from the Fiscado as well as a daily service from the port of Sami in Kefalonia. You can also hop on a boat to see the nearby islands of Meganisi, Scorpio and Lefkas, and stop off at pristine beaches for swimming.
