Villa Phaedra Overview

Villa Phaedra holds a fabulous position with gorgeous views overlooking Loutraki bay. It has an excellent location, in walking distance to the beach and amenities, while the picturesque town of Chania with its famous Venetian port is only a short car journey away. Villa Phaedra Location

The villa is just 100 metres from the villa, but it's rocky edge so not easy to access, therefore nearby Loutraki Beach is a 350m walk is best for sunbathing or swimming. Further on it's a 20 minute walk (1.7km) to the beach and tavernas at Marathi. The nearest airport is Chania (9km), whereby Heraklion Airport is 145km away. 17 km from Chania town it's an excellent position for families. Heraklion has an old bazaar with a host of shops and restaurants.
Nearby places to visit, include the Agios Nikolas Church at Souda, the Fort of Koules, the Chapel of St John the Baptist, and the natural area of the Kyharis Rover. Heraklion and the ancient site of Knossos are just over a two-hour drive away.
