Attica is a periphery in Greece, containing Athens, the capital of the country. Attica is subdivided into the prefectures of Athens, Piraeus, East Attica and West Attica. Attica covers an area of about 3,808 sq. km. with about 3,750,000 people living in the periphery, of which more than 95% are inhabitants of the Athens metropolitan area. There are 530 Hotels in Attica.
